Solid Color Waterborne Concrete Epoxy Flooring
4010 Waterborne Pigmented Epoxy Floor Coating is a pigmented epoxy sealer coating designed for use over concrete floors. The 4010 Epoxy utilizes an epoxy crosslinking technology that allows it to breathe out moisture emissions found on high MVE (moisture vapor emissions) concrete floor slabs. The 4010 Epoxy is used as a flake receiver coat as well as a final coat for monolithic or solid color floors. Due to its waterborne technology, the Epoxy is very user friendly and can be used in most areas. Our 4010 Epoxy is ideal to use over residential garage floors, light industrial retail concrete slabs, and commercial floors where a high-gloss solid color, hot tire resistant concrete epoxy is desired. The 4010 Waterborne Pigmented Epoxy Floor Coating will provide the look and much of the performance typically found in 100% solids concrete floor epoxy coating system while also remaining a breathable low odor epoxy flooring.
Pros and Cons of Broadcasting Flake into our Pigmented Waterborne Concrete Flooring Epoxy
When broadcasting flake into the 4010 Epoxy it must be done quickly since it is a faster drying epoxy which has a shorter pot life than our 4195 Direct-to-Concrete Pigmented Epoxy Floor Coating. One of the advantages of the 4010 Epoxy is that the flakes will typically lay flatter which results in less elbow grease to remove loose flakes and a flatter surface that requires a little less clear topcoat. One of the disadvantages is that it does not wick into the concrete floor as deeply as the 4195 Epoxy does, so you will have a higher chance of failure when exposed to higher MVE (moisture vapor emissions).
