Ultra-High Solids Polyaspartic Clear Concrete Floor Coating and Sealer
The 5097 Ultra-High Solids Polyaspartic Clear Floor Coating is a fast drying, ultra-high solids polyaspartic topcoat flooring product designed for use over concrete floor coatings and a wide range of other decorative concrete floor coatings and concrete floor stains. 5097 Polyaspartic flooring is 97% ± 3% solids clear coating and allows film thickness to build in excess of standard systems with water clarity and mirror like smoothness and gloss. 5097 Polyaspartic ultra-high solids flooring topcoat has a much lower viscosity than a typical ultra-high solids polyaspartic which makes it comparably easier to apply while providing an even longer pot life and a faster cure when applied onto the coated concrete floor surface. The applicator will find that 5097 Polyaspartic has much more forgiving application characteristics than other high solids polyaspartics found in the marketplace. Tough & Durable Floor Clear Coating
The cross linking of the 5097 Polyaspartic series film in the cure makes it exceptionally tough and durable, making it four times more abrasion resistant than normal epoxy. The chemistry is based upon polyaspartic and much attention has been given to the application and installation attributes in its formulation. As a result, the 5097 Polyaspartic clear topcoat is extremely user friendly without having sacrificed the performance of the finished floor coating product. The applications for this product are almost limitless. 5097 Polyaspartic is suited for use on high-end residential flooring applications, retail floor settings with high traffic, or food service floor areas where stain resistance and cleanability are paramount.
High Build Flooring Topcoat in a Single Coat
5097 Polyaspartic flooring sealer provides a beautiful thick clear film that lays down nicely over most coated concrete floor surfaces. It is widely used over our Roll on Rock® Epoxy Fflake Flooring System that is designed to be used over concrete floors. Floor coating applicators that use this polyaspartic topcoat over flaked epoxy floor systems are doing it so they can achieve very high build finishes with only one coat. This premium high build floor coating installation saves the flooring installer from having to spend time doing a second coat. The 5097 Polyaspartic clear floor coating is also widely used as a protective topcoat over bare concrete floors, stained, commercial, industrial, and decorative concrete floors. The water clear, high-gloss and ultra-high build film of the 5097 Polyaspartic provides a beautiful topcoat finish that will look great for years. The chemical backbone of the 5097 Polyaspartic is designed to be extremely scratch resistant while also having great chemical resistant properties. The scratch resistance built into the clear topcoat will allow the polyaspartic flooring to maintain its gloss for a longer period of time when compared to other concrete floor coating products.
Easily Applied to Decorative Concrete Floors
We have reduced the 5097 Polyaspartic clear coat viscosity down to levels comparable to a medium solids CRU (chemical resistant urethane). The benefits of this are that the polyaspartic floor sealer is easier to install, has more pot life, cures to a hard film faster (dries in three hours) and is suitable for exterior exposure without yellowing.
